What she has to say, she wrote it on her arms
Long sleeves to cover it up
From pain to pain, a never ending circle line
Just to know if she's still alive
Screaming silently and running from herself
But in need of doing it again
Be her friend and put you warm hand on her chest
Feel her cold heart running fast

When the skin is coloured red she is afraid of what she'll find
At the end of the tunnel cause she cannot already see the light
But she's faking a smile and says 'I'm alright'
And the world just doesn't care

And lies 'I won't do it again'

Figured out what she's become, it's hard to swallow
No shoulder to cry on but her pillow
Another night spent on the floor, she feels ashamed
For what she finds relief in, she's the one to blame
Gashed more deeply like it was her only cure
Searching something worth fighting for
She doesn't have the guts to stare at her own reflection
To not see what people call self destruction

She's trying to learn how to cope with life
